The Music Department of the Belgrade Cultural Center proudly organizes the 24th edition of the International Festival “Days of the Organ – Dies organorum,” which will be held from June 26 to July 7 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Neimar.
The festival will be held on the prestigious organs made by the Italian builder Zanin, a symbol of Belgrade’s musical heritage. We extend our gratitude to the parish priest of the Cathedral and the Archdiocese of Belgrade, which celebrates a hundred years since its establishment this year, for their kindness and support. This year, the festival will be part of the celebration of this significant anniversary, continuing the longstanding cooperation between the Belgrade Cultural Center and the Archdiocese of Belgrade.
The festival program includes both classical musical heritage and contemporary performance practices. Participants will include artists from Italy, the United States, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Spain, and Serbia, with a special focus on the dialogue between the human voice and the organ. Admission to all festival events is free.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the City of Belgrade, the Archdiocese of Belgrade, the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, the Goethe-Institute in Belgrade, the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Cervantes Institute in Belgrade, Acción Cultural Española ACE, UA MO Stanislav Binički, and Alma Quattro.
