After several decades, the Czech House is back on the map of Belgrade’s cultural spaces. The grand opening featured the participation of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Mr. Petr Fiala; the Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Mr. Dejan Ristić; and the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran, and Social Affairs, Mr. Nemanja Starović, who together symbolically opened the doors of this important cultural and historical space in Belgrade. The opening ceremony was enriched by a performance from the Czech brass orchestra HarMálek, joined by special guest Bojan Krstić, an award-winning trumpeter from Vladičin Han, offering the audience a unique blend of Czech and Serbian musical traditions.
This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Czech House, which will once again become an important center for gatherings and cultural exchange. The event program and activities can be followed on the website and social media of the Czech Center Belgrade.
The Czech House in Belgrade, a symbol of the historic friendship between the Serbian and Czech peoples, is once again open to all citizens and culture enthusiasts. Welcome!
