From June 19 to June 23, you will have the opportunity to view the most current achievements of French film production, such as Quentin Dupieux’s “Deerskin” which opened the Cannes Film Festival and is featured on the poster of the French Film Festival in Serbia.
In addition to contemporary films, a series of sports-themed films will be presented in homage to the Olympic Games that will be held in Paris. The festival will be opened by the festival’s godfather, the famous Serbian actor and director Dragan Bjelogrlić, alongside French director Ladj Ly and actor Alexis Manenti, whose film “Les Misérables” will be shown on the first day of the festival.
Besides the now traditional venues like Kosančićev Venac, Silos Belgrade, the plaza between the towers of Ušće Business Center (July 4-7), and MTS Hall, this year we are introducing a new location – Belgrade Garden at Zvezdara. In addition to Belgrade, the French Film Festival will also take place in Niš, Novi Sad, and Zrenjanin.
