The Collegium Hungaricum Belgrade, Cultural Department of the Hungarian Embassy, is delighted to invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Luxurious Journey from Budapest to Belgrade: A Shared History of Hungarian and Serbian Railways".

The Collegium Hungaricum Belgrade, Cultural Department of the Hungarian Embassy, is delighted to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Luxurious Journey from Budapest to Belgrade: A Shared History of Hungarian and Serbian Railways”. The event will take place on Friday, May 31st, starting at 6 PM, at Gračanička 14, Belgrade.

The exhibition showcases the cultural and economic development that has historically influenced the strengthening of ties between Hungary and Serbia. Visitors will have the opportunity to view exhibits related to the Orient Express, as well as locomotives that were used on the railway tracks of both nations.

In addition, in collaboration with the Budapest Railway History Park, we offer you a unique experience of a free ride on the garden railway in Duke Vuk’s Park on June 1st and 2nd, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Serbian Railway Museum, the Historical Park of Hungarian Railways, the Hungarian Technical-Transport Museum, and the Segedin Railway History Foundation.

Admission is free and no prior registration is required. We look forward to your attendance and are excited to explore this fascinating history together.
